We would like to welcome you and your crew to the port of Helsinki.
While in the harbour, the responsibility for the safe conduct of operation on board rests with the Master of the ship. We require from you a full cooperation, compliance with the harbour regulation for Port of Helsinki.
We expect that the Master and the entire crew have familiarized yourselves with the regulations of Port of Helsinki and that you adhere strictly to the safety requirements throughout your stay at the port of Helsinki. We will ensure that the harbour personnel fully cooperate with you.
If any deviation of the harbour regulations are observed on your ship, the ship will immediately be notified of the deviations for corrective measures. If the corrective measures are not taken within a reasonable period, we shall adopt the measures we consider appropriate to handle the situation and notify you accordingly.
Port regulations, act, degrees and other provisions give stipulations on operations within the port area. These Guidelines are a summary of practical procedures at the port.
