Route for special transports
Special transports and arrangements for them in the harbour area must be agreed in advance. If transport requires special arrangements or routes in the road network, instructions and related information can be obtained from the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, www.ely-keskus.fi , which also grants permission for special transports.
It is also important for the harbour operator to know in advance when a special transport will arrive at the harbour.
Routes
- A pass to the closed harbour area must be obtained from an operator.
- Contact the Port of Helsinki's Port Info, tel. +358 9 3103 3794 when you arrive at the harbour centre.
- Port Info will open the boom under the pedestrian bridge (route 1).
- Drive to parking area P1 in front of the Gatehouse and take care of business in the Gatehouse if necessary (route 1).
- Port Info will open Gate A5 to the closed harbour area (route 1).
