The environment and co-operation

Port operations always have effects on the environment. Accordingly, monitoring the condition of the environment and promoting its well-being are some of the Port of Helsinki’s key responsibilities. The larger the number of parties attending to the well-being of the environment, the better our chances of doing good to the environment.

The Port of Helsinki is involved in several international and national co-operation projects. In addition to the projects listed on the partner introduction pages below, the Port of Helsinki is actively involved in the City of Helsinki’s various workgroups.
