The Port of Helsinki is developing its parking operations and further strenghtens ability to serve passengers together with Aimo Park Finland Oy from August 2020 onwards.
The new partnership is expected to create value for customers and new service opportunities in digital and physical touchpoints.
– An excellent passenger experience stands for flexibility and functionality throughout the travel chain. Parking is an important part of overall customer experience, says Marika Pauli, Head of Passenger Services Development at the Port of Helsinki.
The parking entity of Aimo Park Finland includes the parking services for the Port’s outdoor parking areas and the new parking garage at the West Harbour next year. The partnership also includes the production of parking services, supervision, as well as various payment methods, such as mobile payments.
– Parking, as well as all of our value added services, requires constant service development. Aimo Park and the Port of Helsinki have similar understanding of product development and joint priorities to focus on the customers’ needs, Pauli says, describing the reasoning behind the choice.
– Our development agenda takes us towards modern digital parking services. In the future, they will include the opportunity to book and pay the parking space in advance.
