Certified Business Coach Katja Riikola MBA, 42, who is particularly passionate about the development of organisational culture and management, has been selected as the HR director of Port of Helsinki Ltd. She will start on 9 September.
Prior to joining the Port of Helsinki, Riikola has worked in HR management roles at The Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities and the University of Helsinki, among other places, and gained experience in the HR work of different organisations for almost 20 years.
“People are always the connecting factor. I feel that strategies and organisational culture can be brought to life through people. I want to promote a better working life, organisational culture, and management,” she says.
