The Port of Helsinki has launched a competitive bidding process for the taxi services of its terminal areas. The Port strives to constantly improve its passenger experience, in the context of which the aim of the competitive bidding process is to ensure the availability and good service level of taxi services for passengers.
The Port of Helsinki aims to restructure the taxi services and transport reception areas of Katajanokka and West Terminal T2 so that one taxi lane in the terminal areas will be reserved exclusively for the winners of the bidding process, leaving a second lane for other providers of taxi services. The procurement includes an option for contract taxi lanes at other passenger terminals.
The Port’s aim is to make the contract taxi services available to customers at West Terminal 2 and Katajanokka Terminal in spring 2020.
The contract notice was published on 10 December 2019 in HILMA. Tenders can be submitted until 12:00 on 7 January 2020.
