The restaurant services in Katajanokka Terminal to be upgraded to an international level

The Port of Helsinki has chosen the world-renowned company, Compass Group, as the service provider for its restaurants in Katajanokka Terminal. The contract will begin in August. The 2nd-floor bar and restaurant will be reserved for ferry passengers, while the café and kiosk on the 1st floor and the unpretentious bistro and restaurant on the 3rd floor will provide their services to all: passengers, employees and the area’s residents.

Bespoke solutions and restaurant services, available from morning till evening, will be tailored for Katajanokka Terminal. In addition to a basic selection of kiosk goods, the kiosk and café, located on the street level, will carry snacks and small take-away food items.

The terminal will offer diverse restaurant services and the newly-renovated facilities will be cosy and functional. The 3rd-floor bistro will have a wide selection of services and products, including both classics and the latest trends. Furthermore, the bistro will serve as a lunch restaurant for local residents and employees, and can function as a venue for seminars, meetings and other events.

Different passenger groups’ requirements will be taken on board: the bar on the 2nd floor will be a popular spot amongst cruise passengers, while families can enjoy delicious street food and other treats in a separate café, with children’s favourites available on a kids’ menu.
