Tierin sähköpotkulautoja Katajanokan terminaalilla

The Port of Helsinki Ltd and TIER Mobility have agreed to bring rental electric scooters to the passenger terminal areas of the Port of Helsinki. TIER Mobility’s electric scooters offer an easy and environmentally sustainable way to travel to the port.

The agreement provides Tier with the exclusive right to offer its electric scooters for rent at all passenger harbours in Helsinki from the start of June. This allows the number of electric scooters to be managed efficiently, increasing comfort and accessibility in the harbours’ terminal areas.

Tier is committed to keeping its scooters in order efficiently in the port area. For this purpose, Tier has put together a special Ranger team that is tasked with keeping the electric scooters in order, thus also improving the tidiness of the cityscape. The operations will start from the T2 and Katajanokka Terminals at the West Harbour.

The Port of Helsinki is the busiest passenger port in Europe, with 12.2 million passengers passing through it annually. The vision is to make the port into the most functional port in the world, and a seamless passenger experience is important in achieving this objective. This requires smooth operation across the travel chain and for various modes of transport to be provided with access to and from the port. It is also important for the port to be a functional part of the city and serve as a forerunner in sustainable development. https://www.portofhelsinki.fi/en
