International cruise ships will be heading out from Helsinki this winter

International cruise ships will also be heading out from Helsinki this winter. Le Commandant Charcot, owned by Ponant, will make a total of four cruises from Helsinki during the 2024/2025 winter season. The first one left on 2 December.

During two Scandinavian Wonderland & Christmas Markets cruises departing from Helsinki, Le Commandant Charcot will visit the ports of Stockholm, Visby, Gdansk, Riga and Tallinn. The ship will then make another cruise from Helsinki to Kemi, stopping in Stockholm, Rauma, Luleå and Oulu on the way. From there, it will take the same route back to Helsinki.

Le Commandant Charcot is 150 metres long and 28 metres wide, with a draught of 10.05 metres. The ship has two restaurants, and can accommodate 245 passengers in a total of 123 cabins and suites. The vessel’s ice-class is PC2.
