Vuosaari’s transition to a single-gate model for vehicle traffic is entering the final straight.

The gate technology was finalised during early 2024, and the data generated during the April trial period was then analysed.

“This data will be used in discussions with our partners, as we will be planning all the ways in which we could utilise it in the future,” says Development Manager Jani Lindroos.

The trial period suffered a little as a result of the strike, as thorough testing would have required normal traffic volumes.
