

Sweden introduced temporary border control on 28 March 2022. During this border control, all passengers aged 18 and above who travel from Finland and the Åland Islands to Sweden must present valid ID documents at the check-in. The purpose of this border control is to facilitate the reception of refugees from war-torn Ukraine.
Sweden will continue border control measures until the start of September.
Accepted proof of identity:
- passport or
- ID documents that meet the EU standards.
- A valid Nordic driving licence is accepted as proof of identity for citizens of the Nordic countries.

Passengers may also be required to present ID documents upon arrival in Sweden.
