Parking – Olympia Terminal
Ship passengers can book their parking space in advance at the Olympiaparkki car park located in the basement of the Olympia Terminal. You can also park your car for a longer period in the P2 and P3 outdoor parking areas next to the Old Market Hall. In addition, there is a parking space for escort traffic in front of the terminal.

Pre-booked parking
Satamaparkki.fi web shop is being renewed! You can still purchase parking through the current web shop for parking taking place until the end of May. A new and more user-friendly web shop will be launched in June.
Olympiaparkki car park

Open every day from 9:00 to 17:00.
- The car park is located in the basement of Olympia Terminal, is open to ship passengers.

- A 47-hour parking package available for ship passengers (with 2 additional days if needed).
- Maximum height 3.2 m.
- 73 indoor parking spaces.
- 9 parking spaces for charging your electric car (Basic+). Charging requires the Virta app, and electricity is charged separately.
Makasiiniranta P3
The pre booking option at the Makasiiniranta P3 ends on 3 May 2026 at 23:00. Parking in the area will continue without advance booking.

Short-term escort traffic
P1 parking in front of Olympia Terminal

Paying for parking
Olympiaparkki car park: Only pre-booking. Book and pay at www.satamaparkki.fi/en (external link).
Port of Helsinki’s outdoor car parks: you can pay with EasyPark, ParkMan and Aimo apps or a payment machine. The payment machines operate with the most common payment cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit).
Parking with a card for persons with reduced mobility
With a parking card for persons with reduced mobility, you may park free of charge in the port’s outdoor parking areas for passenger cars. The maximum parking time does not apply.
The permit cannot be used in outdoor parking areas or parking garages that require advance booking.
Leave your car charging during the trip
You can leave your car charging with carbon-free energy at all ship terminals in the center of Helsinki. You pay for the electricity you use, not for the time!
