The Port of Helsinki promotes solutions that take the private sector and the maritime industry towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly shipping and sea travel. These goals are reflected also in sponsorships and commercial cooperations.

The Port of Helsinki sponsors parties whose activities align with the company’s values of responsibility and cooperation. The sponsorship application period for 2026 was open from 1 February to 22 February 2026, and applications will be processed as soon as possible. All applicants will be contacted directly. The next sponsorship application period is scheduled for February 2027.

The Port of Helsinki engages in cooperation under two main themes:

• inclusion, community and teamwork in the immediate surroundings of our port areas
• sustainable development and the marine environment

Support can be targeted, for example, at local public events in our nearby areas, junior sports teams, or fostering community spirit, improving the state of the Baltic Sea, or even environmental research.

Effective cooperation benefits both parties and communicates the values, goals, and responsible actions of the Port.
