Port of Helsinki parking services to be renewed in 2026

The Port of Helsinki’s parking services will be renewed during the course of this year. The reform will be implemented in phases across different parking areas, with the aim of improving the flow of parking, clarifying services, and making the overall customer experience smoother.

Starting from the beginning of June, parking services at the Satamaparkki car park and pre-booking areas will be provided by Moovy Oy, with Finnpark Pysäköinti Oy acting as the operational partner.

What does the change mean for customers?

Renewed online store
The Port’s parking online store will be updated. In the future, reservations can be managed via self-service at satamaparkki.fi. Customers can make, review, cancel, and modify their reservations independently, including updating the vehicle registration number, without contacting customer service. With self-service, cancellations are possible up to one hour before the reservation begins, providing greater flexibility if plans change.

In the new online store, a service fee will be added to advance bookings to support service development.

Clearer pricing and parking types
Advance booking for premium spaces in the Satamaparkki car park will end, and all parking spaces will have the same price going forward.
Electric vehicle charging spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and charging will be billed separately.

Multiple payment methods remain available
Customers will gain access to the Moovy app. In addition, the familiar EasyPark and ParkMan apps will continue to be available.

The changes will be implemented in stages

Parking areas will transition to new partners in stages at the beginning of June:

Satamaparkki car park (West Harbour)
The operator change will take place on 1–2 June 2026.
Parking will remain available during the transition, and payments can be made using EasyPark and ParkMan.
Payment machines will not be in use during the change. After the transition, a new payment machine will be located in the pedestrian entrance lobby.

Olympia Parking Hall and Katajanokka P5 pre-booking area
These pre-booking areas will be temporarily out of use during the transition period from 1–7 June.

Other outdoor parking areas will remain unchanged and continue to be operated by Aimo Park. These areas will transition to the new partners on 1 October 2026. Additional digital payment methods will also be introduced during the autumn.

Parking and pre-bookings at the beginning of June

The new online store at satamaparkki.fi will open on 1 June 2026.
Parking with pre-booking will be available again starting 8 June 2026, once the system update is complete.

During the first week of June, pre-booking will be temporarily unavailable. During this period:

  • parking with pre-booking is not possible
  • parking without a reservation is available at the Port Parking Facility and other outdoor areas
  • payments can be made via mobile apps and outdoor payment machines

We will provide further information on detailed arrangements and any possible changes as needed.
