The parking services of the Port of Helsinki are being renewed during the current year. The reform will be implemented in phases across different parking areas, with the aim of improving the parking experience, clarifying services, and making transactions easier for all customers.

The parking services are provided by Moovy Oy, with Finnpark Pysäköinti Oy serving as the operational partner.

As part of the first phase of the reform, the parking online store has been renewed, and reservation management has been transferred to the Satamaparkki service.

Parking Payments Become More Digital and Parking Enforcement Will Be Renewed on 1 October 2026

The second phase of the Port of Helsinki’s parking services renewal will begin on 1 October 2026. The changes will affect payment methods for outdoor parking areas, the locations of payment machines, and parking enforcement. The aim of the renewal is to make parking more convenient and to further develop services through increased digitalization.

Changes to Parking Apps

Payment via the Aimo Park app will end on 30 September 2026. The Moovy app will be introduced as a new payment method on 1 October 2026. The EasyPark and ParkMan apps will continue to be available as payment methods as usual.

For parking sessions that span 30 September to 1 October, we recommend using the EasyPark or ParkMan parking apps in outdoor parking areas.

Parking Area Names Are Being Updated

As part of the parking services renewal, the names of some parking areas will also be changed. The purpose of these name changes is to standardize the naming of parking areas and make them easier to find in signage, maps, and digital services.

From 1 October 2026 onwards:

• West Harbour P2 (formerly T1) Tyynenmerenkatu 8
• West Harbour P3 (formerly T2), Tyynenmerenkatu 14
• Katajanokka P1 (part of the former P4 area), Mastokatu 1
• Katajanokka P6 (formerly P5 Drive In), Katajanokanlaituri 8

Fewer Payment Machines Available

The current payment machines in outdoor parking areas will be decommissioned on 30 September 2026. From 1 October 2026, the following parking areas will no longer have a payment machine:

• South Harbour Makasiini P2, Eteläranta 7
• South Harbour Makasiiniranta P3, Eteläranta 7
• Katajanokka P2, Katajanokanlaituri 2
• Katajanokka P3, Kanavakatu 12
• West Harbour P2, Tyynenmerenkatu 8
• West Harbour P4, Tyynenmerenkatu 14

Parking at these areas can only be paid for using parking apps.

Parking payment machines will be replaced at selected outdoor parking areas:

• Olympia Terminal P1, South Harbour
• Katajanokka P4 and P6, Katajanokka
• West Terminal P3, West Harbour

The new payment machines are expected to be delivered by the end of 2026. Until the new machines arrive, parking can only be paid for using parking apps or by making an advance reservation.

Parking Enforcement Service Provider Is Changing

From 1 October 2026, parking enforcement at the Port of Helsinki will be carried out by Ruutuluotsi. The current parking enforcement service provider, Aimo Park, will cease its operations in the port’s parking areas at the end of September.

The aim of the new service model is to combine effective parking enforcement with customer-oriented service. Users of the parking areas will have easy access to assistance with parking-related questions and support in various parking situations.
