Port of Helsinki parking services to be renewed in 2026

The Port of Helsinki’s parking services will be renewed during the course of this year. The reform will be implemented in phases across different parking areas, with the aim of improving the flow of parking, clarifying services, and making the overall customer experience smoother.
Starting from the beginning of June, parking services at the Satamaparkki car park and pre-booking areas will be provided by Moovy Oy, with Finnpark Pysäköinti Oy acting as the operational partner.
Parking and pre-bookings at the beginning of June
The Satamaparkki.fi online store opened on June 1, 2026. Parking with advance reservations will be available starting from June 8, 2026.
Please note the following exceptions during June 1–7, 2026:
- Parking with advance reservations is not available.
- Olympiaparkki parking hall and the Katajanokka P5 advance reservation area are closed.
- Parking is available without advance reservation at the Satamaparkki car park and in all drive-in outdoor areas.
- Payment is possible via mobile apps and outdoor payment machines.
- Payment machines at the Satamaparkki car park are out of service from June 1 to 3.
What does the change mean to customers?
Renewed online store
The Port’s parking online store will be updated. In the future, reservations can be managed via self-service at satamaparkki.fi. Customers can make, review, cancel, and modify their reservations independently, including updating the vehicle registration number, without contacting customer service. With self-service, cancellations are possible up to one hour before the reservation begins, providing greater flexibility if plans change.
In the new online store, a service fee will be added to advance bookings to support service development.
Clearer pricing and parking types
Advance booking for premium spaces in the Satamaparkki car park will end, and all parking spaces will have the same price going forward.
Electric vehicle charging spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and charging will be billed separately.
Multiple payment methods remain available
With the update, the Moovy app will be introduced for customers of the Satamaparkki car park. A new payment machine will be located in the pedestrian entrance lobby.
At the Olympiaparkki parking hall and the Katajanokka P5 advance reservation areas, parking and payment are only available with an advance reservation.
Aimo Park will continue to operate other parking areas that are not available for advance booking until September 30. Starting from October 1, payment will be available via the Moovy app. The use of EasyPark and ParkMan apps will continue as normal in the parking areas.
New digital payment methods will be introduced during the autumn. We will provide more information about these later.
