Vuosaari Harbour road tunnels to be closed for alternative route testing June 16-18
The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment will close the Vuosaari road tunnel in both directions from June 16, 2025, at 22:00 to June 18, 2025, at 22:00 for testing the tunnel’s alternative route.
During the closure, traffic will be directed to the alternative route, which has been improved for smoothness and safety, particularly at junctions and pedestrian crossings. The alternative route follows the route Itäväylä–Kallvikintie–Niinisaarentie–Vuosaari harbour.
