Photo exhibition on the history of the Olympia Terminal and the Port

With the small photo exhibition at the Olympia Terminal, you can dive back decades and experience how travel and the port have evolved.
The exhibition and the stories found via QR codes reveal how the port has developed from a rocky shore to an international gateway to the world. Did you know that a diving company salvaged treasures from the sea centuries ago? And that all items were reused and recycled even then? You will also learn how the port’s operations and environment have shaped Helsinki into a more sustainable city long before environmental awareness became part of everyday life.
