The Port of Helsinki has been granted the Future Workplaces Certification for the second time in a row, indicating that the aspects that employees find most meaningful are being realised well at the Port. The certification was granted by Eezy Siqni Oy, whose job satisfaction survey the Port of Helsinki has been using since 2019.

The Siqni survey focuses on examining the factors that are most meaningful for employees and how well they are realised in the organisation. The survey helps organisations to hear and understand their employees and steer development efforts in the right direction. The Port’s long-term focus areas include various factors that increase community cohesion and the development of managerial work.

“I am very pleased for all of us. The excellent survey results show that it is possible to achieve excellent results through systematic development. These results are a shared achievement, as a strong corporate culture and good workplaces are created together,” says HR Director Katja Riikola from the Port of Helsinki.

“Thanks goes to all of our employees. And when high employee satisfaction is also reflected in good customer satisfaction, this is success together at its best”, CEO Ville Haapasaari says.

The results of the Port of Helsinki’s Siqni survey show significant improvement compared to a year ago, with the respondents’ willingness to recommend the Port of Helsinki as a workplace increasing significantly in particular.
