Port of Helsinki streamlining port operations and developing its pricing to be more cost-based

The Port of Helsinki’s price list for 2026 has been published.

The Port has managed to keep the overall increases in its prices moderate by spreading the cost pressure of inflation over a longer period of time and by targeting fees and charges exactly where costs are incurred. In the adjustments for the 2026 price list, the Port has paid particular attention to safety, regulatory requirements, efficient use of space and cargo circulation speed.

Freight charges will increase by 1% and passenger charges will increase by 1.8–2.0% from the previous year.

Environmental discounts on vessel charges will continue to be granted. With these discounts, the Port encourages its customers to renew their fleet and adopt more environmentally friendly technologies.
