Port of Helsinki granted Future Workplaces 2023 certification – Factors that employees find most meaningful realised well at the Port

The Port of Helsinki has been granted Future Workplaces certification by Eezy Siqni Oy. It can be earned by a workplace whose workplace culture has been led with exceptional employee insight.

“For many years now, we have been using Siqni’s employee surveys to gain insight into what factors are most meaningful for our employees and how well these things are realised at the Port of Helsinki. By listening to our employees, we have gained a good understanding of the things that we should focus on the most,” says VP, HR Katja Riikola from the Port of Helsinki.

The Port’s long-term focus areas include various factors that increase community cohesion and the development of managerial work, for example. The Port has also strived to provide its employees with a wide range of opportunities to participate in development projects and present their views.

The results of the Port of Helsinki’s Siqni surveys have been improving steadily across the board for several years now, including this year.

“The most recent, excellent results are an achievement that all of our employees contributed to, and we all deserve credit for the certification. After all, workplace culture develops as a result of everyday interactions between people,” Riikola praises.

“The Port of Helsinki is a top-class workplace. And, as we know, employee satisfaction goes hand in hand with customer satisfaction. They are both at an excellent level at the Port,” says CEO Ville Haapasaari.
