The Port of Helsinki opened the Makasiiniranta P3 outdoor parking area near the Helsinki city centre. The area’s roughly 140 parking spaces serve ship passengers, all visitors arriving in Helsinki by car, and city residents and car owners in general.

The parking area has a beautiful maritime view and is located between the Old Market Hall and the Olympia Terminal, along great transport connections. The distance to the terminal is approximately 500 metres.

Parking prices:
0–6 hours: €5.70 per hour
subsequent hours: €0.55 per hour

You can pay for parking at the location with the EasyPark, ParkMan or Taskuparkki applications or with a bank card using the ticket machine.

In February 2024, visitors will also have the chance to book a parking spot in the area in advance through the satamaparkki.fi booking service.

The Makasiiniranta parking area is a temporary area that will be decommissioned as the Eteläranta development project progresses.
